Press Release - Patrol Base Abbate Blend

Black Clover Country Coffee Roasters Announces Patrol Base Blend to Support Veterans

Black Clover Country Coffee Roasters announced a new coffee blend, Patrol Base Blend, to support Patrol Base Abbate (PBA). 100% of the profit made from selling the Patrol Base Blend will go directly back to PBA to support their mission of providing a community to veterans across the United States.

Patrol Base Abbate provides a space for all veterans and service members to reconnect around shared interests.  We aim to facilitate a rediscovery of purpose so our members can reclaim the best version of themselves and their communities. The legacy of our namesake, Sergeant Matthew Abbate, Navy Cross recipient, serves as an example for all veterans. In times of need, there is a Sergeant Abbate in all of our lives who believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. We use his legacy to guide us towards the best version of ourselves.

“We are honored to be a sponsor of Patrol Base Abbate” Said Mike Smith, Co-Founder of  Black Clover. “Named after our co-founder Dominica's brother, we invite you to drink great coffee and help veterans through this fantastic non-profit.”

Black Clover Country Coffee Roasters is proud to work with local and international nonprofits that promote our values. They are happy to support the local community whenever they can. They believe in creating a stronger impact on the global economy while taking care of the earth in a responsible manner. They are passionately committed to providing the very best coffee from ethically sourced farmers. Additionally, they invest and give to their local communities and primarily support health and wellness issues in the developing world as well as Veteran rehabilitation programs stateside.

This partnership aims to impact veterans lives by providing them a sense of community through Return to Base Programs, local chapters and an online community.

About Black Clover Country Coffee Roasters
We started Black Clover Country Coffee Roasters because we were tired of buying and consuming hipster coffee. We are sure the baristas with skinny jeans and beanies are nice kids, but the coffee served in the 8-ounce cup had more tasting notes than we could track.

Founded by a husband-and-wife team on a little farm in East King County Washington State, our country coffee roaster was born.

We like our coffee strong. Whether it be hot or iced, we want to be able to grab a refreshing, strong cup of coffee from our truck or tractor or leave it on our fencepost between repairs.

Black Clover is not ironic, rather it is the coffee you expect when working in your shop, on your farm, or ranch.

 Welcome to Black Clover Country.
