Espresso - Brazil
Brazil has a long and rich history of cultivating coffee. In fact it is still the largest coffee producing country in the world. When you think of that Italian coffeehouse experience, you are most likely sipping on coffee that was grown in Brazil.
We are fortunate, through relationship, to have an excellent farm that we import from. JC Coffee Importers has been a Puget Sound (the country really) staple and with family living right here near the Emerald City, we feel the connection is extra valuable.
You can read up on the region and all the nerdy coffee facts here. You will probably notice why we like these folks so much. They are co op of SMALL farms, just like we are and the community we are building around Seattle's Eastside.
The coffee we bring to our farm from JC and their farm is roasted in a way as to "not get in the way" of the hard work the soil, the coffee plant, and the processing has already done. We roast simply and to a medium to medium-dark roast profile so as to accentuate the peanut butter and chocolate notes we desire when sipping on espresso or in a latte. It really does taste like a peanut butter cup was melted into a cup.
Order some for your home espresso machine, heck, we will even grind it for you if you like.
